Crochet car coasters are easy to make and solve a very common problem – messy cup holders!
They line the cup holders and keep them clean, and since they are made from cotton yarn, they are washable and reusable.
These cup holders need just a little yarn and can be made in no time! So go ahead and make yourself some.
These coasters measure 3.2 inches in diameter.
These coasters are available in my Etsy shop in case you do not know how to crochet. Or if you just do not feel like making them yourself!

How do you make these Crochet Car Coasters?
I followed this pattern from the blog lifeawayfromtheofficechair.com
I found that it was too small so I added one more row.
For the last row, chain one, single crochet in next stitch, chain one, single crochet in next stitch. Do this all around and finish with a slip stitch into the first chain. Finish off.
Cut the yarn and use the yarn needle to weave in the ends of the yarn.
That’s it your coaster is ready! Now make one more and you can use them in your car!
Notes:
I suggest you measure your car cup holder size before starting so that you can adjust the coaster accordingly.
Nearly every car cup holder is slightly different.
Weave the ends in well so that they do not come out when you wash the cup holders.
I recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry.
