This Spring Flower Crochet Garland will add that pop of color and brighten any space in your home!
It can be hung on a mantle, a shelf, a wall, a window, wherever you think needs some color. I put it in my closet that I converted to my workspace! Especially after a dull winter, it makes sense to brighten your home.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS SPRING FLOWER CROCHET GARLAND?
Crochet thread or yarn – I used size 10 Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread
Crochet hook size 1.65mm or 1.90mm

HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS SPRING FLOWER CROCHET GARLAND?
This is the pattern from Pinterest that I used to crochet the flowers. This is a diagram pattern. If you need help reading these kinds of patterns, there is a great article by Yarnspirations on how to read crochet symbols. I prefer following diagrams to written patterns!
If you like following written patterns, I will attempt to write the pattern down! I am definitely not a pro at writing patterns, so this is my humble attempt at it!
CROCHET FLOWER PATTERN (in US terms)
DC – Double crochet
- Crochet 10 chains and join with a slip stitch.
- Make 3 chains (counts as first DC), DC 23 times into the circle. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the 3rd chain at the beginning.
- Chain 3, and I DC together. 5 chains and 2 DC together in 3rd DC below (skip 2 dc), repeat pattern, and join with a slip stitch to the top of the first 3 chains and dc together.
- Slip stitch into the 5 chain space, * (Single crochet, 7 DC, single crochet) in the 5 chain space. Repeat * pattern in every 5 chain space around and end with a slip stitch. Finish off and weave in ends. I made one flower in each color thread that I had.

After all the flowers are done, start a crochet chain and attach the flowers as you go. I crocheted about 40 chains at the beginning and about 20 chains in between each flower. Join the flowers with a few slip stitches on top of the flower to the chain.
You can crochet as many flowers as you like depending on how long you want the garland.
The one I made is around 2 feet. And I crocheted 8 flowers.
To hang the garland up you can use tape or tie it to something using the crochet chain.
NOTES:
If you use yarn, you have to use a bigger crochet hook and your flowers will be bigger. But your garland will be just as cute!
This can be used as decor for a child’s room year-round.
