These Macrame Flower Bead Keychains are so cute and make a great accessory for your keys, bags, backpacks, diaper bags., etc.
Macrame is one of those crafts where you need no special tools, just your hands! Using just a few knots, you can create a variety of beautiful and useful things.
I have been learning Macrame for the past 6 months or so, I am no expert and am still learning. I follow and have subscribed to many YouTube channels. If you are learning too, I would love to share my favorites with you:
I know it is a long list! But, it’s great to watch different videos as each person has a different way of explaining. So you never know which one works best for you! I am truly grateful to all these creators for sharing their knowledge and expertise with all of us.
This macrame flower with beads is from a tutorial by Kathy of Gray Wonders. Her tutorial is a DIY Macrame Flower with beads.
She posted this tutorial recently and I loved it! I thought it would be beautiful as a keychain.
So, I decided to try it out and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make and how beautiful it looked! I loved it so much, I ended up making these for my Etsy shop! If you would like to take a look at my shop, click here.

How do you make these Macrame Flower Bead Keychains?
Attach your cords to the keychain clasp.
Follow this video from Gray Wonders.
After you make one flower, tie 3 or 4 square knots with the green cord.
That’s it!
Just trim the cords. Brush them out and you have a pretty flower bead keychain!
Notes:
I used tape on the ends of the cord to get the wooden bead to go through.
Brush out the tassel and trim it at any length you like. You can use spray starch if you like to stiffen the tassel.

Those are adorable. I’m not particularly crafty, but my niece would enjoy making one. Thank you very much.
